Make a wants/needs list. Figure out some of the top features and must-haves for your next home. Narrow down to a few on your wants list to help you start looking for homes to visit and the location you want to start looking.

Book for showings. Visit Homes. Evaluate home. Likes and dislikes to determine whether to put in an offer or continue looking.

Make an Offer. Are there other offers on the table before I place mine? Will I participate in a bidding war for a home? What to expect when I’m outbid? Other possible negotiation tactics to use?

Offer accepted. Finance, Inspections, Appraisal, Status, Survey, Closing Date.

Follow up on last minute repairs upon seller's responsibilities. Transfer utilities upon approaching closing day.
